We are a faith community dedicated to educating, nurturing and strengthening our Christian faith. Below are listed some of the many ways that we try to accomplish this.
- Sunday School - Our Sunday School provides classes for children aged 2 through twelfth grade and adults. We focus on building a solid understanding of Christian beliefs and values from the Lutheran perspective. Our Sunday School is in session September through May.
- Confirmation Class - Our confirmation program focuses on Martin Luther's catechism. The program is designed for 7th and 8th graders and is focused on building a solid foundation of belief and understanding of the Lutheran faith.
- Monday Morning Bible Study - Bethel offers regular Bible studies to connect you with God's Word. We have been digging into Isaiah with Pastor Michael. This summer, we are meeting to discuss Dietrich Bonhoeffer's book- Life Together.
- New Members Classes - An introduction to the Lutheran faith for those new to Christianity or from other Christian backgrounds. Also an excellent refresher for those seeking to better understand the Lutheran heritage. This is offered periodically throughout the year.
- Contemporary Issues - Offered periodically through the year to study events/ideas/situations that affect our lives today. A recent series involved a survey on Islam and our Muslim neighbors.
- Book Club - A fun and engaging discussion of books that have relevance to our times. We meet once a month for a Sunday lunch and discussion. All are welcome! Please see the Bell Tower for the book of the month and the next lunch date!
